SELECTED WORK
Many nights, many photons, one photograph.

Some of this light has been traveling since before our time. Collecting enough of it to form an image takes hours.

Drag the slide to see the importance of light.

The left is a single 300-second frame in luminance. The right is 20 hours of them stacked. This galaxy sits 25 million light-years away, so we're seeing it as it was 25 million years ago, and the eye can only gather so much of that light at once. The only way to reach it is to keep collecting.
